Faculty must hold a valid Commercial Driver License and show at least 2 years experience.
Our class is a two week, 80 hour program certified by the Indiana BMV. The first week is classroom/theory training where students learn rules, laws and regulations. The first week also includes permit training and pre-trip inspections. The second week is behind-the-wheel training where students spend time in and around the trucks learning how to maneuver and inspect a Class B vehicle, and learning how to safely operate Class B equipment on the public roads. Following the two weeks of training a student will be ready to take the state certified test with an approved 3rd party tester.
Must be able to pass a Department Of Transportation (DOT) Physical and DOT Drug Screen. Must hold a current valid Drivers License.
There are no deadlines. We start a new class every Monday.
