Instructors must have 3 years of CDL experience, certified instructor license by Indiana BMV, high school dimploma, two good moral character letters, DOT certified physical, MVR.
Our Class A CDL training equipsindividuals with knowledge and skills todrive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commerical vehicle operators. The 160 hour program includes classroom knowledge to apply to the written knowledge CLP test and hands on range training to teach students how to corectly and safely operate a Class A vehicle.Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically-powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares.
Must have valid drivers license for at least 1 year and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
Students must be enrolled Friday before class begins.
