valid Class A CDL license for minimum 3 years, pass Department of Transportation Medical Test and Drug Test Screen, minimum High School Diploma, complete Background Check and Fingerprinting, clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR), complete Progressive Truck Driving School 'Train the Trainer' Program, pass Secretary of State Instructor Exam, receive an Instructor License.

A 300 hour Class A CDL program is the most comprehensive training course offered by our school. It contains a wide variety of learning objectives to accommodate those who want to take advantage of the most complete and highly paid section of job openings in the trucking industry. Many real-life driving problems and situations are presented for the students to resolve. The depth of this program is intended to stress the importance of developing traits and demonstrating the behavior that characterize a true professional truck driver. Students are trained in local traffic, gaining experience in safe driving techniques, as well as in various traffic environments with emphasis on backing skills. This training course includes the 240 hour curriculum with more intense hands-on-training and additionally offers eligibility for four endorsements – hazardous materials, tankers, doubles-triples as well as passenger endorsement which is required for bus driving. This program is ideal for anyone who wants to take advantage of any and all opportunities in the truck and bus driving industry.

A student may be accepted into a program of study once he/she satisfies all of the following requirements: provides with a proof of legal presence in the United States, has a valid Illinois Driver's License, meets the minimum age requirement of 21 years of age, passes the required Department of Transportation Medical Examination (49 CFR 391.41-391.49) with a drug screen, presents a copy of his/her Court Purpose Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
