Course Description This course will cover basic concepts to advanced concepts of power technology through electric motor design and function. It is lab based accompanied with lectures. The student will discuss and by demonstration be able to define theory, electric motor terms, their functions, discuss apparent power/ real power by vector analysis, understand resistance capacitance and induction as it results in the performance and efficiency of work performed by electric motors and their applications.
