All instructors have at least a high school diploma, posess and EPA 608 certification, have teaching experience and are skilled journeymen.
This 120-hour training prepares students to apply basic skills in developing & using air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, & heating systems. Students will also learn design & operational testing, inspection & maintenance procedures, & installation & operation procedures. Students will receive education via lectures and hands-on lab work utilizing tools and equipment. Students will be able to explain and/or demonstrate all objects listed above. Students will prepare and test to earn their Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Section 608 certification, which a required certification by the National Recycling and Emission Reduction Program for all persons who maintain, service, repair or dispose of appliances containing regulated refrigerants.
