Associates Degree in Apprenticeship Technology with a focus on Electrical

Technical Certificate in Electrical Technology

8,000 on the job training hours + 1,060 in person class time focusing on Electrical theory, code and safety. The science of electricity is constantly changing and expanding at an ever-increasing rate. From it's inception, the electrical industry has kept pace with new technologies and is now one of the largest industries in the United States. This rapid expansion means that the electrical apprentice must be given sound basic training in the knowledge of the occupation, supplemented by sufficient instruction in the theories of electrical science, which is what we specialize in.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

1 year high school algebra 1 or higher with a passing grade, or 1 semester of post secondary algebra 1 or higher with a passing grade

Turn in official high school transcripts if graduate; or ged, ged scores and high school transcripts

17 to apply, 18 by time of indenture, need copy of drivers license (ID)

Complete application completely, lying will be grounds for firing or not hiring

Live in geographical area and be willing to drive to jobsites in jurisdiction-Clinton, Grant, Howard, Miami, Tipton and Wabash counties

Take aptitude test and get qualifying score to be eligible for interview

Selection based on interview score (top score to cutoff number of apprentices needed, numerically)

Pass drug screen and physical

Applications accepted year round. In person on Tuesdays from 9-1130am and 1-4pm.
