Instructors hold the equivalent certification they are teaching.

This Cyber Security Apprentice program offers 3 (three) industry certifications including CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ Certifications. This program givesstudents ample security and cybersecurity experience and allows students to deploy security on different kinds of computer networks. Students learn how to combat and solve security threats, secure networks, and deal with unforeseen incidents in an organizational environment. Before taking the courses, students should have some computer and Windows knowledge. It is recommended that students pass the CompTIA A+ Certification Exam and CompTIA Network+ Exam before working towards the Security+ Certification. Students can utilize the certification in an Information Security Analyst role or other Cybersecurity-related careers. Students in this program will be able to receive on the job training and experience with one of our registered apprenticeship participating corporate employers.
