The Primary Instructor for this course must meet the following requirements: o Must have earned CMAA, CEHRS, and CBCS certifications or hold equivalent education/credentials in related field o Must have AT LEAST five (5) years of Experience o Must have Associates Degree or higher in related/relevant field of study.Each Student Services Representative is required to hold a minimum of one (1) relevant and current certification related to disciplines taught by MedCerts. Each of these representatives provides general support services across a variety program topics/certifications (Non-Instructional Support). Each position also requires a minimum of an Associates Degree in a related field, or three (3) years of related experience.
The Clinical Medical Specialist career training program prepares students to gain industry certification and ultimately to work as a Medical Assistant with a focus on Phlebotomy. The online courses will prepare students for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exams. Thisprogramprepares individuals, under the supervision of physicians, to provide medical office administrative services and perform clinical duties including patient intake and care, routine diagnostic and recording procedures, pre-examination and examination assistance, and the administration of medications and first aid. Includes instruction in basic anatomy and physiology; medical terminology; medical law and ethics; patient psychology and communications; medical office procedures; and clinical diagnostic, examination, testing, and treatment procedures.
