Having advanced through the professorial ranking system to Professor status in 1997, he specializes in the area of Operating Systems and computer and network security, with an emphasis in Microsoft Networking topics. This includes an extensive study of Microsoft Windows NT4, Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, 2012 Server. He is also CISSP, CASP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), and CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, and Healthcare-IT Technician certified. In addition he specializes in the areas of Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft SQL Server. Since 1999, James has worked as a Microsoft Certified contract trainer for a variety of training centers and professional businesses throughout the US and the overseas. He has conducted hundreds of hours of training covering 35 or more IT certification topics. He was one of the first to receive a CompTIA Healthcare IT certification in 2012 and has since lead certification training in this topic formany healthcare organizations.Jim has Masters Degrees in Math Education from the University of South Florida and in Computer Science from Nova University. He currently is an Adjunct Professor at State College of Florida and full-time contract trainer.

Earning Network+ Certification means that the students has the knowledge needed to use and maintain a wide range of networking technologies and validates their proficiency in networking administration and support. Developed bythe Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the program is supported by industry leaders such as Microsoft, Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Novell. This course is designed to provide network technicians with the foundation-level skills they need to install,operate, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot a corporate network as well as topics such as the start menu, the desktop, managing files, folders, and libraries, as well as options for customizing the Windows 7 environment with relation to User Accounts, installing devices and printers, file management, and file protection techniques. Students will also learn how to use utilities such as System Restore and configure networking in Windows 7.MedCerts provides progress reports bi-weekly; which contributes to our student program completion rate.
