Description

Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or they may begin teaching with their Bachelor's of Science in Nursing while taking courses to complete their MSN

Moved from 51.1601 to 51.3801

The nursing major consists of 62 hours of professional nursing courses.  Nursing courses begin in the sophomore year when students will care for healthy individuals.  In the junior year, they will care for clients who are dependent on the nurse for daily needs.  As seniors, they will learn to collaborate with clients who have complex health-care needs.  It is our goal to prepare students to practice professional nursing compassionately and competently.  They will learn to think critically, creatively, and independently in preparation for a life of service.  Upon completion of the program, the graduate is eligible to take the RN Licensure Exam.

We provide an engaging intellectual environment grounded in the values of integrity, responsibility, generosity, servant leadership and excellence.
