Licensed teachers will provide assistance for the classroom session and career readiness. Aaron Hale of Hale Automotive will provide hands-on training. Aaron holds certifications in 6 sections of ASE.
This is program is a 9 week training for Automotive Service Technician. It is a hands on approach to prepare students to become a technician that can perform basic services that need to be addressed on a regular basis. The first three weeks will be classroom only and then an ASE practice test. After passing the practice test, students will go to Hale Automotive 16 hours per week to do hands-on training before taking the official ASE Exam to earn their certification.
Students must score a 6.0 in Math and Reading on the TABE Assessment to be eligible to join this class. Any student eligible for this class would also be obtaining an HSE.
Application deadline will be 2 weeks before the start date of each session held.
