- Instructors must have (a) graduated from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the specialty field or subject area in which they teach (b) graduated from an otherwise recognized training entity in the specialty field or subject area in which they teach; or (c) graduated from an institution located outside of the United States and its territories in the specialty field or subject area in which they teach.
- Additionally, each instructor must possess two (2) years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the subject field in which they teach;
OR
- A minimum of three (3) years of job-related training and experience, as described above, for those instructors who are not graduates from an accredited program in the field in which they teach;
AND
- Instructors must also hold a current CompTIA certification that corresponds to the program they teach.
All instructors must provide evidence of this criteria through a resume, official transcripts, and documentation of current certifications. Instructors will be hired and onboarded at least two weeks prior to the start of a class to ensure that they can be properly oriented and prepared to teach the program.
