Course Credential Standard: Credentials other than the program/discipline standard that may appropriately qualify one to teach a specific course. Examples might include a licensure, certification, specialty coursework, etc. specific to the single course.LOGM 100 Course Standard: (Effective February, 2019)A qualified faculty member teaching LOGM 100 meets the course standards through one of two routes:1. Meets the Supply Chain Management Program Standard, or 2. Possesses an active Commercial Driver’s License with a minimum of two years commercial driving experienceInstructors are certified through 160 Driving Academy.

Program Description:

Students will have 160 hours of training, which prepares students to become Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holders. A combination of operating observation/lab classroom and behind-the-wheel skill development. This course provides a fundamental working knowledge of the varied aspects of the trucking industry. It prepares students for an entry-level position as a tractor-trailer driver with a trucking company. Students will become familiar with the industry's rules and regulations and experience hands-on driving techniques designed to prepare them to pass the written successfully and practical portions of the State of Indiana's Class A CDL test.
