This course focuses on learning and implementing key leadership tools through role-playing and in class discussion. This course arms leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to confront the challenges they face as a leader incorporating an in-class report out demonstrating the tools learned and how they are or will be implemented to be more effective in their leadership role. Will receive coaching and project development time for the final report out a project. This course also includes an OSHA 10 certification program that prepares individuals to manage and direct the physical and/or technical functions of a firm or organization, particularly those relating to development, production, and manufacturing. Includes instruction in principles of general management, manufacturing and production systems, plant management, equipment maintenance management, production control, industrial labor relations, and skilled trades supervision, strategic manufacturing policy, systems analysis, productivity analysis, and cost control, and materials planning.
