A.S degree in healthcare, LPN, or Certification in related field and experience in an ambulatory setting.
Our 14-week program combines the instructional classroom portion witha 160-hour externship that is offered concurrently in a medical office setting. Students will perform clinical procedures such as administering medications, obtaining lab specimens, assisting with minor procedures, taking medical histories and vitals signs, educating patients, performing electro-cardiograms, changing dressings, placing provider orders and recording accurate computer documentation.
High School diploma or equivalent. Will enroll those in progress.
