The program faculty will be led by a licensed registered nurse. The clinical medical assistant instructor will have field experience and will hold a clinical medical assistant certification.
The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant(CCMA) program at Saint Joseph’s College offers students the opportunity to learn the knowledge and skills to be a CCMA and to participate in hands-on and relevant learning. Before students are sent out for their clinical experiences, we replicate real-life situations in our medical lab; this allows our students to practice and perfect their learning and skills.
The prerequisites for the program will require students to have a high school diploma or high school equivalency certification (GED/HSE).Students must pass an entrance exam on campus.
The application deadline will be one day prior to the start of classes.
