Program Description:
ACL Medical Training offers medical training at an accelerated pace (4 weeks) to prepare highly qualified individuals to quickly begin working in the healthcare field to meet industry demands due to shortage. This program affiliate with community long-term care facilities/organizations which allow students to receive training via classroom didactic and through the interactive lab to help build their skills. By adding QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) program, CNAs can build upon knowledge and skills they have by preparing them to administer medication under the direct supervision of a licensed professional such as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. This program will also allow them an opportunity to increase their salary by making an additional $3-$4/hr. from their base pay. The program is broken down into learning segments for the student to understand concepts of medication delivery and its foundation as acknowledged in their scope of practice. Job placement is readily available upon completion of the program by self or referral.
