10+ years teaching and dental industry experience, Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), licensed in Dental Radiology

Program Description:

The C9 Dental Assisting program prepares students to earn a National Entry Level Dental Assistant (NELDA) certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). The three part certification includes testing in anatomy, morphology and physiology (AMP), infection control exam (ICE) and radiology health and safety (RHS). Students will obtain a provisional radiology license through the ISDH. Our program prepares individuals to provide patient care, take dental radiographs (x-ray photographs), prepare patients and equipment for dental procedures, and discharge office administrative functions under the supervision of dentists and dental hygienists.
