Minimum Credentials held by program faculty are as follows:Faculty members of ourNCCER training programare as follows: Industry Experience: Faculty members have a relevant industry experience in the field they are teaching, such as construction, electrical work, plumbing, or other construction-related trades. This experience helps us to provide practical insights to ourstudents. NCCER Certification: Faculty members are certified by NCCER themselves. This certification demonstrates their proficiency in the NCCER curriculum and their commitment to maintaining high standards in construction education. Educational Background: Weprefer that our faculty members have educational qualifications, such as an associate or bachelor's degree in education, vocational education, or a related field. This academic background enhances their teaching skills. Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching or instructional roles is valuable, as it equips faculty members with the pedagogical skills needed to effectively convey the curriculum to students. Ongoing Professional Development: Faculty members are encouraged to participate in continuous professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and teaching methods. The NCCER Electrical 1 Program is a comprehensive training program designed to provide individuals with a strong foundation in the field of electrical construction and maintenance. This program is part of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum, which is widely recognized and respected in the construction industry. Electrical 1 is the first step in a series of courses that prepares students for a successful career in electrical work. Participants will learn the fundamental principles of electrical systems, including safety procedures, tools and equipment usage, electrical theory, and blueprint reading. Hands-on training is a key component of this program, enabling students to apply their knowledge in a practical setting. Graduates of the NCCER Electrical 1 Program will be well-equipped to work as entry-level electrical apprentices, and they will have the foundational skills necessary for more advanced courses in the NCCER electrical curriculum. Our program consist of experienced craft tradesman and requires a CORE as a prerequisite. Students may test out of CORE with a passing score of 70 and can confirm their documented work experience.
