Description

Instructor Qualifications:The instructors are required to be certified NCCER Construction Craft Laborer Instructors, holding current certifications at the level they are teaching. To maintain their NCCER Instructor certification, they must have Registration of Training Modules approved by NCCER before the expiration of the Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP), which extends their certification for an additional three years from the completion date on the Registration of Training Modules. Additionally, all instructors possess a minimum of 15 years of experience at the journeyman level or above and/or hold a license as general contractors.

The NCCER Core class is a foundational training program designed to provide participants with essential skills and knowledge for a successful career in the construction industry. The comprehensive curriculum covers various topics, including workplace safety, hand and power tools, construction math, blueprint reading, basic rigging, and more. Participants gain hands-on experience and theoretical understanding, ensuring a strong base for entering various construction trades or pursuing further specialized NCCER programs.
