We are certified by the Indiana State Department of health to provide this training.Our QMA instructor is a Registered Nurse.
This program prepares students to administer prescribed medications per the Indiana State Department of Health guidelines and under the supervison of the licensed nurse. We offer classroom instruction as well as lab time before the clinical rotation starts. All students must be employed in a healthcare facility that will allow them to complete clinical hours . This program meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4PM-8PM. The classroom portion lasts 8 weeks, then the student will complete 40 hours of clinical training at their employment.
Must have a high school diploma an dcurrently be employed with a long term care facility or licensed assisted living facility that will allow you to complete the clinical training.
