With over 40 years experience in welding, the instructor is a Certified Welding Inspector with the American Welding Society.

Program Description:

Our program is designed to prepare individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully meet industry demands. The program is based on a foundation of classroom theory and lab-based instruction in all aspects of welding engineering and technology, including cutting techniques, manufacturing processes and safety.

48.0508 Welding Technology/Welder A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces. Includes instruction in arc welding, resistance welding, brazing and soldering, cutting, high-energy beam welding and cutting, solid state welding, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, oxidation-reduction reactions, welding metallurgy, welding processes and heat treating, structural design, safety, and applicable codes and standards.

Prerequisites Description:

In the absence of a high school diploma or equivalent, applicants must actively pursue a high school diploma or Indiana HSE.
