Qualifications of Instructors:

All of our instructors are licensed in Cosmetology, Esthetics or Nails, they then have to complete a 1,000 hour Instructor program along with completing 6 months of on the job training per indiana laws. This means all of our staff have been through at the least1600 (for Nail Tech Only Instructors) hours of training along with 6 months on the job training. For a Cosmetology Instructor they have been though 2500 hours of training as well as 6 months on the job training.

Program Description:

This program of study prepares students to take a State examination to become a licensed beauty culturist in the state of Indiana. Beauty Culturist shall mean a person, providing, performing, following or practicing any one or all of the practices of beauty culture.

12.0401 Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General A program that generally prepares individuals to cut, trim, and style scalp, facial, and body hair; apply cosmetic preparations; perform manicures and pedicures; massage the head and extremities; and prepare for practice as licensed cosmetologists in specialized or full-service salons. Includes instruction in hair cutting and styling, manicuring, pedicuring, facial treatments, shampooing, chemical applications, esthetics, shop management, sanitation and safety, customer service, and applicable professional and labor laws and regulations.
