CPC-I Certified Professional Medical Coding Instructor, credential holder American Academy of Professional Coders
The Professional Medical Coding Program prepares students for certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) through structured, instructor-supported online training. The program is delivered in an asynchronous format with continuous instructor access, allowing students to progress on a flexible schedule while meeting defined curriculum and competency requirements.
Instruction is aligned with AAPC standards and includes comprehensive training in ICD-10-CM, CPT®, and HCPCS Level II coding using the AAPC Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC). Students receive access to required textbooks and AAPC’s learning management system, a one-year AAPC membership, and a CPC® exam voucher upon successful completion of the course.
The program also includes optional post-completion experiential learning through a structured, self-paced HCC internship designed to reinforce real-world coding application. Graduates are prepared for entry-level employment in medical coding, including remote and facility-based coding roles.
