The IT Service Now Fundamentals Program Faculty must meet the following criteria:1) 3-5 years of ServiceNow experience.2) Current CSA Certification3) Currently employed in the relevant course topic.
The purpose of the IT ServiceNow PreApprenticeship is to prepare learners for their first role in managing IT services using ServiceNow, one of the leading IT service management platforms. Topics included in the PreApprenticeship are scripting languages (Javascript/jQuery/AngularJS), ITIL/Agile methodologies, and ServiceNow administration. Learners will learn how to use the scripting languages/framework to configure the ServiceNow platform. They will learn how ServiceNow is designed based on the ITIL methodology. They will also learn the ServiceNow fundamentals, such as managing user/group accounts and configuring the CMDB schema and catalog. This is a project-based program providing opportunities for learners to apply the new knowledge in hands-on activities. This PreApprenticeship will also prepare learners for the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. For job seekers, the coaching includes job preparedness to identify a job, interviewing preparation, resume development, and building their network. The coaching is facilitated to prepare the job seeker/learner’s resume, and develop communication skills to effectively communicate and present their portfolio to their future employer.
Applicants must be 18 or older, able to be employed in an apprenticeable role, and must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
