Examples might include a licensure, certification, specialty coursework, etc. specific to the single course.LOGM 100 Course Standard: (Effective February, 2019)A qualified faculty member teaching LOGM 100 meets the course standards through one of two routes:1. Meets the Supply Chain Management Program Standard, or 2. Possesses an active Commercial Driver’s License with a minimum of two years commercial driving experienceInstructors are certified through 160 Driving Academy.

Program Description:

Students will have 160 hours of training, which prepares students to become Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holders. A combination of operating observation/lab classroom and behind-the-wheel skill development. This course provides a fundamental working knowledge of the varied aspects of the trucking industry. It prepares students for an entry-level position as a tractor-trailer driver with a trucking company. Students will become familiar with the industry's rules and regulations and experience hands-on driving techniques designed to prepare them to pass the written successfully and practical portions of the State of Indiana's Class A CDL test.

49.0205 Truck and Bus Driver/Commercial Vehicle Operator and Instructor A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commerical vehicle operators. Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically-powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares.

Students must be 18 years old; possess a valid Indiana Driver’s License; and provide a copy of their drug screen, DOT physical and Motor Vehicle Report.
