DMS Transportation and Logistics LLC is a newly accredited career and technical school. It is our mission to exceed our customers’ expectations through training programs that include: Dispatcher Training and Freight Broker Training. We are looking to assist individuals with getting back into the workforce with training in a career field that is rapidly growing. The Freight Broker Training courses are based on the following: overseeing various business deals that includes tasks such asbeinga middleman between shippers and carriers. Instead of taking possession of the freight, the brokerfacilitates communication between the shipper and the carrier. They're the ones making sure the handoff goes smoothly between carriers and shippers, and that freight arrives safely, on time . Our Dispatcher Training will be based onFreight dispatchers that areusually employees of an individual fleet. They are responsible forensuring that drivers have loads to deliver and that they are on-time. Freight dispatchers optimize routes and communicate status updates to thecustomers. Individuals will gain knowledge on how to start their freight broker and or freight dispatcher business with minimal items but not limited to: Laptop Desktop Computer Phone Printer Upon completion, it is our mission to help with additional resources and connections for further job placement
