The Behavior Technician Specialist program is designed to provide students with comprehensive training in the areas of Behavioral Health and Customer Service, while gaining a fundamental understanding of the use of medical terminology and the healthcare-specific language used in various medical environments. Graduates will have met the requirements to sit for the RBT - Behavior Analyst Certification Board exam. Program objectives include obtaining the knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, anatomy and physiology, discuss the compliance standards and the role of HIPAA, OSHA, CDC, FDA, ANSI, AAMI and other regulating agencies.
