All courses within PMA's online training were written by professionals with10-30 years experience in the discussed fields. Many subject matter experts are PMA member companies, degreed professionals, company owners, operations directors, machine operators, human resources professionals and more. Many have NIMS (National Institute of Metalworking Skills Standards) certifications.
Press brake operators, setup personnel, and engineers can benefit from the new press brake training. This course starts with machine types and basics, runs through setting up a machine all the way to new technology. This training will boost your teams skills and provide a baseline for your new inexperienced.
Program is conducted online, on-demand through PMA's METALFORM EDU in the form of purchasing licenses with access to content of over 840 courses containing the Press Brake course curriculum. Once the Press Brake content is complete, participants have access to all remaining content for the duration of the license (1 mth, 3 mth, 6 mth or 12 mth).
There are no deadlines to register, courses are offered year-round. Content is available in the form of a license (members and non-members can purchase), and are in 1, 3, 6, or 12-mth durations for members and 12-mth for non-members. There are Metalforming Licenses (about 50+ courses exclusively from PMA) or a Full Library, over 820 courses (including all the Metalforming courses).
