Program Description:

CompTIA Security+

This course will prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. This course will teach students about understanding threats, attacks and vulnerabilities, architecture and design, physical and system security, cryptography, implementing secure networks and hosts, operational procedures, incident response and forensics.

CompTIA CySA+

This course will prepare students for the CompTIA CySA+ exam. In this course, students will get an understanding of how to manage threats & vulnerabilities, address attacks & software vulnerability mitigation, infrastructure management, hardware & software assurance, and more.

CompTIA PenTest+

The CompTIA PenTest+ course will prepare students for the CompTIA PenTest+ certification exam. Students will learn about planning and engagement, information gathering and vulnerability scanning, network based attacks, web and database attacks, attacking cloud environments, specialized and fragile systems, social engineering and physical attacks, post-exploitation, post engagement activities, and tools and code analysis.

11.1003 Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance A program that prepares individuals to assess the security needs of computer and network systems, recommend safeguard solutions, and manage the implementation and maintenance of security devices, systems, and procedures. Includes instruction in computer architecture, programming, and systems analysis; networking; telecommunications; cryptography; security system design; applicable law and regulations; risk assessment and policy analysis; contingency planning; user access issues; investigation techniques; and troubleshooting.

Prerequisites Description:

Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED (Graduate Educational Development) or a homeschool state issued certificate to be accepted into Medcertify.com. This can be evidenced by a copy of the high school diploma, a transcript, official GED certificate, or a signed attestation.
