The faculty of the AB Sterile Consulting CRCST Training program are required to hold a minimum of the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification. This foundational certification ensures that instructors have a thorough understanding of all areas of sterile processing and distribution, which is essential for educating students in this field.
In addition to the CRCST, our faculty members also possess advanced certifications that further qualify them to provide specialized training. These include the Certified Healthcare Leadership (CHL) credential, which prepares them to lead and manage sterile processing departments effectively; the Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certification, which denotes a deep knowledge of surgical instruments and their care; and the Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification, which signifies expertise in the high-demand area of endoscope reprocessing.
These credentials collectively ensure that our program faculty are not only equipped to teach the fundamental aspects of sterile processing but are also capable of providing instruction on leadership, instrument specialization, and endoscope reprocessing. This comprehensive skill set aligns perfectly with the in-demand occupations our program aims to fill, making our graduates highly competitive in the job market
