Our CNA program runs 6 weeks, offers a host of workplace rediness skills and through our partnerships we also offer job placement. This program is interactive with students to ensure information is retained. Additionally our programs workplace rediness skills allow for our students to have a leg up due to the exposure given in the classroom. Our instructor has over 30 years of nursing under her belt and wants to see others be sucessfull. This class provides the training and clinical experience necessary for persons seeking jobs as nursing assistants. The course includes classroom hours and clinical hours. Criminal history checks are also processed prior to the start of the course. Perfect Attendance is required. This course meets state requirements for registry with the Indiana State Department of Health. A high school diploma, GED, or HSE is encouraged.
Student must pass a basic skills exam , must get an 80%. This exam is to test general comprehension of knowledge and also basic math skills. Additionally this test has some basic medical questions that we have deemed as foundational for anyone joining the program and these questions will be used as a ruler by which we gauge students knowledge of the field they are entering.
Our porgram class date starts on the first full week of the month. With the applicaiton deadline being 1 week before that
