Qualifications of Instructors:

All of our trainers are MOS certified in Excel and Powerpoint, and for Excel they must be MOS certified as an Expert also. Also, all of our instructors have a BS from Purdue University in CIS, and have been teaching Excel and PowerPoint for no less than 20 years each. They have also been using the products for over 20+ years.

Program Description:

The Excel class prepares you for the MOS Excel specialist exam. Topics include: Quick Access Tool Bar, Parts of the screen, Formulas, Functions (SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, COUNT, COUNTBLANK, LEFT, RIGHT, MID, LEN, UPPER, LOWER, PROPER, IF), Formatting the spreadsheet, Printing, Sorting, Filtering, Basic Charting, Backstage View, Conditional Formatting, plus a few more topics to get you MOS ready! The PowerPoint class prepares you for the MOS PowerPoint specialist exam. Topics include: Quick Access Tool Bar, Parts of the screen, Adding-Deleting-Moving-Hiding slides, formatting slides, adding hyperlinks-charts-shapes-tables-smartart, using the different views, saving, printing and showing the presentation.

52.0407 Business/Office Automation/Technology/Data Entry A program that prepares individuals to support business information operations by using computer equipment to enter, process, and retrieve data for a wide variety of administrative purposes. Includes instruction in using basic business software and hardware, business computer networking, principles of desktop publishing, preparing mass mailings, compiling and editing spreadsheets, list maintenance, preparing tables and graphs, receipt control, and preparing business performance reports.
