All faculty are credentialed and licensed in the area of instruction.
Related instruction shall include, but not be limited to, training in the subject matter that leads to a bachelor’s degree in Education and leading to licensure as a K-12 educator. A minimum of 144 hours per year of related instruction are required each year of the apprenticeship program. Academic program schedules and structures vary, but a three-credit, one semester course typically requires three hours in class per week during a 15-week semester, or 45 total hours of class time.
The academic training/related instruction provider will be conducted by a participating Indiana University campus. The OJL/clinical experience and related instruction will be interdependent and complementary of one another.
Apprentice will be employed by a school district and enrolled in or admissable to at educator preparation program.
