Qualifications of Instructors:

Program Faculty Credentials

All program faculty must meet the following minimum credentials:

Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Have a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, with at least one (1) year in a home health or community-based healthcare setting.
Demonstrate experience in teaching or training within a healthcare setting is preferred.

The Indiana State-Approved Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Program offers a comprehensive blend of classroom instruction and supervised practical training tailored to meet the unique needs of home healthcare settings. This program is specifically designed to equip students with essential skills, such as personal care, infection control, and emergency response, while emphasizing professionalism, client dignity, and ethical caregiving practices.
