A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience in the IT industry, encompassing areas such as hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, or technical support. Prior teaching or training experience is advantageous, particularly in higher education settings. Possession of industry-recognized certifications relevant to the subject.
This in person, skills training course serves as an introduction to Information Technology (IT) fundamentals, providing students with essential knowledge and skills necessary for understanding and navigating the field of IT. The course covers key foundational concepts, principles, and practical applications across various domains within IT. Students will explore the fundamental components of computer hardware and software, network basics, data management, and information security principles. Students will also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for addressing IT challenges.
