The faculty member has over 20 years of experience in pharmacy operations and has been a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) since 2002. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). Her expertise in business and pharmacy operations provides students with the skills needed for a successful career as a Pharmacy Technician. She is committed to ensuring students build a strong foundation for excellence in the field.
The goal of the pharmacy technician program is to provide students with educational and clinical training in preparation for entry-level employment. Students will develop professional skills in customer service, prescription preparation, patient profiling and drug inventory maintenance. The Pharmacy Technician program will prepare you for the roles and responsibilities of working in retail, call centers, hospitals, and pharmacies.
To ensure your success in this, you should have experience with basic computer user skills, be able to complete tasks, be able to search for, browse, and access information on the Internet, and have basic knowledge of computing concepts.
Students may enroll and begin classes at any time. The start date is officially the date the enrollment agreement is accepted.
