The program is as follows:

- Completion of CPRC-A credential requried courses followed by exam for credentialing.

- Placement in experiential learning portion of apprenticeship

- Completion of additional educational courses during experiential learning (these may be completed while awaiting placement as well)

Prerequisites Description:

There are pre-requisites to obtain the Certified Peer Recovery Coach-Associate (formerly Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach I) or Certified Peer Recovery Coach (formerly Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach II) credential that includes a high school diploma or equivalent state certificate along with a personal lived experience in their own recovery for minimum one-year from addiction, mental illness or co-occurring substance and mental disorders.
