Instructors must have a minimum of 2 years holding a CDL-B license, be able to pass all background checks and meet BMV and FMSCA requirements for instructor licensing.
This program is approximately 56 hours in length with Entry Level Driving Training classroom, behind the wheel, range instruction, adult basic education, and career readiness. Students will attend the Mon-Friday and have 16 hours of distance education. Upon completion of the course, students and instructors will take the truck they trained on to A 3rd party test center for the driving exam.
Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, be able to pass BMV background checks, drug screen, and a DOT physical. Students need a minimum of 518 in Reading on the TABE Assessment or minimum of level 3 on the WorkKeys Workplace Document assessment.
