The Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) program at Magnolia Blossom Health Services Institute prepares students to work alongside licensed pharmacists in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, community pharmacies, and long-term care facilities. Students will learn pharmacy law and ethics, prescription processing, inventory control, dosage calculations, compounding techniques, and insurance claim processing. The curriculum emphasizes accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring graduates are prepared to meet the highest professional standards.
Upon completion, students will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exams to earn the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential. Graduates will be equipped for rewarding entry-level positions as pharmacy technicians in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy environments.
