Program Description:

The Clinical Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students to work in multiple healthcare settings. Medical assistants with a clinical background perform various clinical tasks to assist doctors, including assisting with administering medications and minor procedures, performing electrocardiogram (EKG) tests, obtaining laboratory specimens for testing, educating patients, and other related tasks. Job opportunities are prevalent in physicians' offices, clinics, chiropractors' offices, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. ?
