Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, A.S.

Graduates from this two-year degree understand the operational side of manufacturing and service systems. The curriculum encompasses the foundational math and science courses and introduces the student to optimization techniques, industrial administration and management of human resources. Quality, lean manufacturing, safety and other high-demand topics from the industrial and manufacturing fields yield a broad understanding of manufacturing and service operations.

The Associate of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering prepares students for positions such as industrial engineer, quality engineer, manufacturing engineer, or environmental health and safety engineer.

Core Student Learning Outcomes

1. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors
