Program Description:

This 13-week program combines in-depth lectures, engaging discussions, extensive hands-on lab practice, and real-world clinical experience through an externship. Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Once certified, students will be qualified to work as a clinical medical assistant in physician offices, hospitals, urgent care centers, specialty clinics, outpatient facilities, and other healthcare settings nationwide!

Includes instruction in basic anatomy and physiology; medical terminology; medical law and ethics; patient psychology and communications; medical office procedures; and clinical diagnostic, examination, testing, and treatment procedures.
