The majority of the online workforce instruction will be provided by Aztec Software through their online learning platform. In addition, there will be an IET instructor who is a Registered Nurse with a BS and over 10 years in the field supplementing instruction.
The Adult Ed instructors and workforce ready imstruction will be provided by insividuals employed by Parke Vermillion Adult Ed as Classroom Instructors.
Course Description: This course is 4 weeks in length ranging between 60 - 80 hours. This hybrid course includes adult education, workforce training and career readiness. Aztec intensive online curriculum has lessons with Unit Tests at the end of each module. Upon completion of all modules, an Aztec Practice Certification test wil be administered. After passing that test, students will take and pass the NHA CBCS exam. After passing the exam, students will be given the opportunity to complete up to 16 hours of clinical experience with one of our medical business partners. Students will also work on interview and resume skills before interviewing with one of our medical business partners.
Student must pass all background checks and score a minimum of 535 on the Language TABE Assessment.
