Expertise in using Microsoft Office, excellent interpersonal skill with adult students, experience working with adult students, knowledge of skills required to pass MOS certification test.
This class will prepare you to perform duties of an administrative assistant and or secretary. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification provides you with the foundation of knowledge needed to succeed in environments that require the use of computers and electronic communications. Earning MOS certifications can help you broaden your employment opportunities. This certification will make you more competitive in today's market and can lead to higher wages and increased job satisfaction. You will become proficient in three of the most commonly used software programs used by administrative assistants and secretaries: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
High School diploma, GED, TASC,or regular attendance in ABE classes
One week before start of class
