Instructors will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years proven experience and proficiency with QuickBooks software. At least one year of teaching and/or training experience is required.
This is an introductory bookkeeping course, using QuickBooks accounting software. Students will learn: Accounting Basics How to setup QuickBooks (the Desktop and or Online version) Bookkeeping Principles How to Manage a Business in QuickBooks The Capabilities of QuickBooks Included in this training is setting up a new company, chart of accounts, items, recording transactions (customers, vendors, and employees), managing lists,and running and customizing reports.
All applicants must supply proof of a high school diploma, its equivalent, or the proven ability-to-benefit, by obtaining a minimum acceptable Scale Score (SS) on an assessment test administered by Tough Start Incorporated through its Literacy Initiative to Further Education (LIFE) program.
