All New Horizons faculty hold, at minimum, a high school diploma and are certified in the content he or she teaches.

Program Description:

The program prepares individuals for the CompTIA A+ certification exam. Mastering this exam indicates an individual is capable of performing tasks such as installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of common PC systems.

11.1006 Computer Support Specialist A program that prepares individuals to provide technical assistance, support, and advice to computer users to help troubleshoot software and hardware problems. Includes instruction in computer concepts, information systems, networking, operating systems, computer hardware, the Internet, software applications, help desk concepts and problem solving, and principles of customer service.

Program Prerequisite:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Prerequisites Description:

Students must have a high school diploma, its equivalent, or demonstrate an ability to benefit by obtaining a passing score on the entrance exam. All students must obtain a score of at least 17 on the Wonderlic SLE.
