Bachelor's Degree and IC3 Certification
Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3®) is a course where you will learn critical computer and Internet skills that are valued in today’s academic and professional environments. Topics covered include: exploring computer basics, input and output, analyzing storage, and exploring system software. Students will analyze basic software applications for word processing, spreadsheets and databases. The course will cover communication basics of networks, the Internet, the World Wide Web, email and other messaging systems, online safety. Employability and career skills will be discussed through the course. The course ends with the opportunity to take the three exams to become IC3® certified.
Students must possess a high school diploma or GED/HSE or be working simutaneously to obtain their high school diploma. Students must achieve a Level 4 or higher on the TABE Test.
