Program Description:
CompTIA PenTest+ (PT0-002) is a vendor-neutral certification exam designed for cybersecurity professionals who have hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. The certification measures the individuals ability to identify, analyze and mitigate security threats using the latest tools and techniques. The course covers various topics including: Planning and scoping of a penetration test Information gathering and vulnerability analysis. Attacks and exploits Penetration testing tools and techniques Reporting and communication of test results Legal and ethical considerations in penetration testing Compliance requirements and industry standards The CompTIA PenTest+ certification is designed for intermediate-level cybersecurity professionals who have a minimum of two years of experience in network and computer systems security, including hands-on experience with penetration testing. Upon completion of this course, individuals will have a strong understanding of the concepts and techniques used in penetration testing, allowing them to perform more effective security assessments and help organizations better protect their systems and data from cyber threats.
