CNA Program Director - Jennifer Flowers, RN, HFA (Associates Degree)CNA Program Educational Facilitator - Michelle Ball, LPN (Associates Degree)
The CNA program is a 4 week program with 2 weeks of classroom training and 2 weeks of clinicals in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The participant will test with Ivy Tech at the end of training. The participant can work as a Nursing Assistant for 120 days prior to passing the CNA test. If the participant has not passed the testing in 3 attempts they will be required to retake the 4 week CNA program.
The Indiana State Department of Health CNA program does not have prerequisites for this program. Some employers do require a minimum of a GED or High School Diploma.
